In this session we will present an overview of the Korea International School experiential education (EE) program. Our program falls under the umbrella of our applied learning pedagogy, and it was built from the ground up by number of teachers over a 5 year time period.

Our program is grades 4-12, including 17 domestic programs and an additional 7 programs running internationally. We will cover topics that include safety and risk management, curricular connections, communications, creating a culture of risk takers, and building community.

We will share our vision of what EE looks like at KIS and share out about how it might look at different schools around the world. Participants will leave our session with a general framework about building a personalised and dynamic experiential education program at their school.
